Adults in Hartlepool looking to find a new hobby in 2020 should look no further than joining the archery group at Summerhill.

Casual price is £6 per session, members £5.50 and concession £4.85.

Claire McDonald, Hartlepool Borough Council’s Countryside Outreach Officer at Summerhill, said: “Archery is a fantastic form of exercise. Not only does it improve hand-eye coordination, but also builds strength particularly in the arms, hands, chest and shoulders.

“Aside from the physical benefits, those who take up archery can also improve their focus, patience and confidence, whilst meeting new people who share similar interests.

“Each session is tailored to individual needs, so don’t worry if you’ve never picked up a bow before. We’d encourage anyone interested to come along and give it a try before spaces fill up.”

Those interested are advised to book their place in advance by calling Summerhill Country Park and Visitors Centre via 01429 284584.
