There’s a magical afternoon in store for young Hogwarts fans at the sixth annual Harry Potter Book Night at Hartlepool’s Community Hub Central (Central Library).

Little witches, wizards and Muggles are invited to join in the ‘Triwizard Tournament’ on Thursday 6 February from 4pm-5pm, featuring games, craft sessions and readings themed around Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

“This annual celebration of the magic of J.K. Rowling’s stories is one of our most popular events,” says Angela Picken, Children and Young Person’s Library Assistant.

“There’ll be a special certificate for each of the children who take part, and don’t forget to come along in fancy dress as your favourite Harry Potter character!”

The event is open to children aged 5-11 (under eights must be accompanied by an adult) and costs £2 per child.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance by contacting the library on 01429 272905 or emailing central.library@hartlepool.gov.uk
