The Mayor of Hartlepool welcomes everyone to civic service

Hartlepool people of all ages are invited to join the Mayor of Hartlepool for a special Civic Service of Morning Worship.

The service is in All Saints’ Church, Stranton, Hartlepool, on Sunday 9 February at 11am and will be led by the Reverend Norman Shave, Civic Chaplain and vicar of All Saints’ Church.

Among those taking part will be representatives of the Mayor’s three good causes for 2019/20 – the Great North Air Ambulance Service, Harbour and Pansies Breast Cancer Support Group – who will be giving a short talk about their organisations.

Councillor Brenda Loynes, the Mayor of Hartlepool, said: “Hartlepool is a town with wonderful, caring and generous people which is second-to-none.

“I extend a very warm welcome to everyone to join me to celebrate that community spirit in this special service, which is being very kindly hosted by All Saints’ Church.”
