As a result of the Government's announcement that the local and mayoral elections in England will be postponed for a year to May 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak, the pre-election briefing for people interested in finding out more about standing as a councillor which was due to take place on Saturday 14 March at Civic Centre at 10am has been cancelled.
