Last call for relaxation sessions

Published Friday, 7th August 2020

Some places are still available on several free outdoor mindfulness and relaxation sessions for adults being run by Hartlepool’s community hubs.

Places are available on Wednesday 12 August at the King George V Playing Fields and on Wednesday 26 August at Summerhill country park.

There are two sessions to choose from at each venue - 11.30am-12 noon and 1.30pm-2pm. All the sessions will observe physical distancing and, being outdoor, are weather permitting.

Everyone who takes part will also take home a goody bag with a kit for making a heart decoration filled with soothing lavender.

Donna Stone, Community Hubs Outreach & Engagement Co-ordinator, said: “Relaxation and mindfulness are always really important but never more so than during COVID-19.

“The sessions have proved really popular but a few places are still available for people who would like to take up on this relaxing offer.”

Places must be booked in advance by email to central.library@hartlepool.gov.uk
