Send us your COVID questions for Hartlepool leaders to answer

Published Thursday, 7th January 2021

Residents in Hartlepool are being encouraged to send in any Coronavirus-related questions they might have for Hartlepool Borough Council’s senior people to answer in a special online video next week.

The video will be broadcast on the Council’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/hartlepoolcouncil and via Twitter at www.twitter.com/HpoolCouncil on Wednesday 13th January at 7.30pm and taking part will be Council Leader Councillor Shane Moore, the Council’s Managing Director Denise McGuckin and its Director of Public Health Craig Blundred.

People are asked to please submit their questions in advance by midnight on Sunday 10th January, either by email to yoursay@hartlepool.gov.uk or via the Council’s social media platforms above.

Councillor Moore said: “We’ve been using lots of different ways to communicate and share information with residents since the Coronavirus crisis began, including social media posts, news releases, newsletters and videos, but we felt people would also welcome the opportunity to send questions to us and have them answered and discussed by us in person in this video format.

“Whether it’s about the latest national lockdown restrictions, getting a COVID test, support for our most vulnerable residents or for businesses or the impact on Council services, if people have specific questions about Coronavirus in Hartlepool, please send them in and we’ll do our very best to answer them.”
