Enjoy a fun-filled family summer at Seaton

Join us over the next six weekends at Seaton Carew for a whole host of family fun.

Summer at Seaton will begin on Saturday (July 24th) and then continue on Saturdays through to the end of August.

Councillor Shane Moore, Leader of the Council, said: “After so many months of lockdown and restrictions, we can’t wait to welcome people to Seaton Carew for the ultimate fun-filled family summer. There’s going to be something for everyone, so come on down and join us!”

Summer at Seaton is being organised by Hartlepool Borough Council with funding received from the Government’s Re-opening the High Street Safely Fund, provided by the European Regional Development Fund.

There will be range of entertainment, street performance, active fun and much more.

A major attraction during Summer at Seaton will be In Memoriam, a touring artwork by internationally-renowned artist Luke Jerram, which will act as a temporary memorial to all those lost during the COVID-19 pandemic and a tribute to NHS staff who have risked or lost their lives. It will be located in Seaton (exact location to be announced) from August 20th-30th and feature 120 flags made from NHS bed sheets arranged in the form of a medical logo.
