Hartlepool companies interested in exploring overseas opportunities can tap into expert advice at a special online event.

An EU and International Trade Virtual Roadshow is being held on Monday 6th September, organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth Team and Tees Valley Business. Tees Valley Business is the local growth hub for the Tees Valley, established by the Tees Valley Combined Authority and Tees Valley Mayor.

Firms can book a free 30 minute virtual one-to-one appointment to talk to a panel of EU and international trade specialists on Zoom.

Time slots can be booked at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/165885633395

The panel will include advisors from the Department for International Trade, Innovate UK edge, Tees Valley Combined Authority and the Council.

Councillor Paddy Brown, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth and Regeneration Committee, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to get one-to-one advice from experts.

“During these appointments, you’ll be able to ask questions, find out what support is available locally and discover how to take advantage of international markets and new opportunities.

“The experts each bring specialist insights to the panel, including local knowledge of your area, so you can get tailored advice, guidance, support and signposting for your business.”

If you can’t make it, you can still speak to a member of our team on 01642 662778 or email eubusinesssupport@teesvalley-ca.gov.uk to access support.
