Help shape business park improvements

Hartlepool Borough Council wants to invest in improvements to industrial estates and business parks around the town and is asking the firms based on them to help shape the plans.

The Council has a total budget of £760,000, provided by the Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority from its Indigenous Growth programme.

To help inform the improvements, the Council is inviting companies on business parks and industrial estates to take part in a short online survey at www.investinhartlepool.co.uk/business-park-improvement-project/ to share their views on the condition of their estate.

The survey covers a range of topics including crime and security, general environment, highway conditions, transport and connectivity, infrastructure, business accommodation and business support.

Councillor Paddy Brown, Chair of the Council’s Economic Growth and Regeneration Committee, said: “Having an attractive and supportive environment is an important factor in helping firms to flourish.

“I very much hope as many of the businesses as possible will take part in the consultation and give us their views, so that we can ensure that we make the best and most effective use of the funding available to us.”
