Lots to discover at new-look Hub

Published Friday, 8th October 2021

Hartlepool’s Community Hub Central in York Road has undergone quite a transformation during the pandemic and people are invited to drop into a special Open Week next week to explore the changes.

There are some new areas to enjoy including a Food@TheHub café serving tasty snacks, a community space and a new-look children’s area with specially-commissioned Gruffalo-themed décor.

There’ll be opportunities to try out technology like 3D printers and vinyl cutters in the FabLab plus an upgraded People’s Network for web access.

The friendly Support Hub staff will be on hand for advice to help you stay happy and healthy and the Live Well suite will be opening its doors for guidance on equipment to help people live independently at home.
