Hartlepool companies interested in exploring overseas opportunities can tap into expert advice at a free in-person event next week.
An Export Academy is being held on Tuesday 23rd November at The BIS in Whitby Street, organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth Team and the Department for International Trade.
Firms will be able to talk to a panel of EU and international trade specialists and get information on subjects such as training support, funding opportunities and support for trading internationally.
Business can register for the event by clicking here.
The speakers will include advisors from the Council’s Economic Growth Team, the Department for International Trade, the British Business Bank, the North East England Chamber of Commerce, Tees Valley Business and UK Export Finance.
Paddy Brown, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth and Regeneration Committee, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to get one-to-one advice from experts.
“The experts each bring specialist insights to the panel, including local knowledge of your area, so you can get tailored advice, guidance, support and signposting for your business.”
