Medical centre to host walk-in vaccination and booster clinics
Published Wednesday, 15th December 2021A series of walk-in vaccination and booster clinics are to be held at the Victoria Road Medical Centre in Hartlepool, starting tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s clinic will take place from 8.30am-7pm and will be followed by others on Monday 20th December (8am-8pm), Tuesday 21st December (8.30am-7pm) and Wednesday 22nd December (8am-8pm).
First and second doses will be available. For people aged 16-17 there must be a minimum of 12 weeks between doses, whilst for those aged 18 and over there must be at least 8 weeks between doses.
Booster jabs will be available for:
- Those aged 18 and over
- Frontline health & social care workers
- Those aged 16-39 who are in the at-risk group for COVID
- Adult carers
- Adult household contacts of at-risk groups
There MUST be at least 3 months between a second dose and a booster.
First doses will also be available for 12–15-year-olds, BUT ONLY FOR PATIENTS REGISTERED WITH THE FOLLOWING GP PRACTICES:
- McKenzie House Surgery
- McKenzie Group Practice
- Headland Medical Centre
- Gladstone House Surgery
