Thank you to everyone who took part recently in the first phase of Hartlepool Borough Council’s consultation to shape the town’s Community Hubs to meet the needs of the future.

The way people use the Hubs and libraries continues to evolve and the Council is seeking people’s views to help it develop a strategy for the Hubs for the next five years.

A second and final phase of consultation is now under way, running until Friday 18th March, to seek people’s views on more detailed aspects.

For example, what do you think of the opening hours? Which services should be available where? Which services are relevant to you – such as reading or

computer access, for example, or the Support Hub or events?

Councillor Tim Fleming, Chair of the Council’s Adult and Community-Based Services Committee, said: “We want to make sure that in the years ahead our Hubs and

libraries continue to meet people’s needs and make a significant contribution to their lives and wellbeing, so it’s really important for people to please give us their

views.”
