Hartlepool Borough Council is reminding residents there are a number of donation points across the Borough to gather contributions to send to refugees fleeing Ukraine.

In Hartlepool, a collaboration of voluntary and community sector organisations including Something Positive Solutions, Hogg Global Logistics Limited and Hartlepower are collecting donations.

To support these efforts, Hartlepool Borough Council has also launched a number of donation points at Community Hub Central on York Road, Community Hub South on Wynyard Road, the Centre for Excellence in Creative Arts on King Oswy Drive the Headland Library (from Monday 14th March) and Seaton Carew Library (from Saturday 12th March).

PLEASE NOTE: The Headland and Seaton branch libraries will be closed until Friday 11th March while a new, improved online library system is installed.
