Hartlepool Support Hub – a gateway to information, advice and care

Published Thursday, 24th March 2022

Residents of Hartlepool are being reminded about the support available to adults in need of just a little bit of extra help.

Hartlepool Support Hub provides a gateway to information, advice, support and care.

If you – or someone you care for – needs help and would like to talk about it, a Community Navigator or Contact Officer will have a chat to you and spend time getting to know what matters most to you, what keeps you well and happy and how they can support you to live a good life so you can do the things that are important to you.

They will help you to:

  • Make a plan
  • Find out about local groups and activities that you might be interested in
  • Help connect you to those groups
  • If necessary, introduce you to services that can help you

To contact the Support Hub:

  • Visit the Support Hub at Community Hub Central, York Road, TS26 9DE between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday
  • Call (01429) 272905 between 8.30am and 5pm Monday - Thursday. 8.30am to 4.30pm on a Friday.
  • Email helping@hartlepool.gov.uk

Councillor Tim Fleming, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Council’s Adult and Community Based Services Committee, said: “Hartlepool Support Hub was established by council staff within a matter of days in March 2020 in response to the Coronavirus outbreak to support individuals who were shielding, vulnerable and in self-isolation.

“Since that time, it has grown considerably and now provides a vital gateway to information, advice, support and care for all those who need just a little bit of extra help.

“Our staff are here to help and if you – or someone you know – needs to talk to us then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
