Family learning fun for Easter and Eid

There’s an exciting programme of fun, free learning activities for children and families in Hartlepool to mark Easter and Eid.

Organised by Hartlepool Learning and Skills Service, the sessions are free and are aimed at children aged 4+.

The full line-up is:

 

Easter Arts and Crafts – Tuesday 12th April

Make bunny and chick decorations from paper cups, pegs and wool pom-poms. 10am-11.30am at High Tunstall College of Science, Elwick Road.

Family British Sign Language – Tuesday 12th April

Learn some basic sign language with your child. 12.30pm-2pm at High Tunstall College of Science, Elwick Road.

Egg-citing Egg Decorating – Tuesday 12th April

Decorate an egg with a message, pattern or as your favourite character. 2.30pm-4pm at High Tunstall College of Science, Elwick Road.

Family Baking at Easter and Eid – Wednesday 13th April

Make and bake some shortbread biscuits with your child. 10am-1pm at High Tunstall College of Science, Elwick Road.

Eid Arts and Crafts – Wednesday 20th April

Make a moon and stars mobile and a set of moon-spotting binoculars. 10am-12 noon at the Centre for Excellence in Creative Arts (CECA), King Oswy Drive.
