Enjoy summer at Seaton – and make a date for a bumper finale!

A J Productions – the theatre company behind Hartlepool’s hugely popular Christmas pantomimes – will be presenting a fun-packed afternoon of entertainment featuring some of their panto stars.

It’s part of Summer at Seaton – an annual joint promotional campaign by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth and Active and Creative Hartlepool teams.

From 12 until 4pm on Friday 25th August there’ll be a host of FREE family activities in and around Seaton Outdoor Play Park on the promenade:

From 12 noon to 2pm:

* Meet and greet your favourite characters on the promenade. Come along and take a photo with a princess or superhero!

* Singalong Live – pull up a deckchair (provided) and join singing star Glen Townsend in a sing along to some family hits.

* Drop-in Workshops – perfect for all ages.

* Hip Hop Class – Drop in and learn how to break, trick and TikTok dance like a pro with Ruff Diamond stars and TikTok sensations Jason Lund and Joshua White.

* Circus Skills – Always wanted to run away and join the circus? Learn how to juggle, do tricks and sleight of hand with the funniest workshop leader in the land – panto star Gary Martin Davis!

* Sand Castles for Everyone – Youngsters can have a go at building some of the biggest sand castles in town with help from our building super squad. All equipment is provided and the best castle will win a prize for all the family.

Then from 2pm to 4pm:

Pull up a deckchair and enjoy The Big Family Show – a live, full-length show starring panto favourites Davey Hopper and Glen Townsend, packed full of slapstick fun, laughter, games and prizes. Seating will be limited, so make sure you arrive in plenty of time.

“Our Summer at Seaton events are always tremendously popular, and this year we’re especially delighted to welcome some of the stars of AJ Productions – the company behind our amazingly successful Christmas pantomimes – to lead a bumper day of free activities for all the family, with all the laughs, fun and audience participation of their stage shows!”
