It’s so quick and easy with Wi-Fi Print!

It’s now even easier for people to print something out for themselves at Hartlepool’s Community Hub Central.

From next week, the Hub, in York Road, is offering a Wi-Fi Print service.

Up until now, Hartlepool Libraries members had to use the People’s Network computers in the Hub if they wanted to print something out for themselves, such as a CV, bill or ticket.

Thanks to Wi-Fi printing, as long as you’re a library member (it’s free to sign up!) and you have your own smartphone, tablet or laptop, you can send your documents to print through Wi-Fi.

You can also connect and print from home and then collect the printing from the Hub.

To sign up for the Wi-Fi Print service visit www.hartlepool.gov.uk/wifiprint.

To become a Hartlepool Libraries member, visit www.hartlepool.gov.uk/libraries.

There’s a small competitive charge for the printing service but it’s free in certain circumstances, such as for jobhunters who need to print CVs.

Jamie Kelly, the Council’s Community Hubs Manager, said: “Getting something printed can be a problem for a lot of people and previously if you were using the Hub you’d have had to log onto one of our computers or the staff would have had to print something for you.

“Wi-Fi Print makes it so quick and easy. We’re trialling it at Community Hub Central and if it’s a success we’ll look at rolling it out across our other Hubs.”
