Businesses encouraged to support Hartlepool Restaurant Week

Restaurants, pubs and cafes are being invited to take part in the next Hartlepool Restaurant Week.

Organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth Team, the hugely popular event will run from Monday 21st-Sunday 27th October and aims to promote and celebrate the Borough’s eateries.

Businesses wishing to participate can either create a specific Restaurant Week menu or develop special offers within their existing menus at the set prices of £5, £10, £15 or £20.

The menus and offers will then be promoted in advance through a dedicated Hartlepool Restaurant Week web page and marketing campaign.

Councillor Pamela Hargreaves, Chair of the Council’s Economic Growth and Regeneration Committee, said: “Restaurant Week always proves popular – as demonstrated by the 1,900 people who took advantage of some excellent offers to dine out during the most recent event in January.

“Restaurant Week is a great opportunity for restaurants, pubs and cafes to market themselves to a whole new clientele, so I would encourage as many businesses as possible to get involved.

“I would also urge people to support our hospitality sector by taking the opportunity to sample some of the excellent food that can be found at eateries across the Borough.”
