Football treat on offer for Hartlepool youngsters

Published Monday, 7th August 2017

YOUNG Hartlepool United fans are being given the chance to watch games at Victoria Park this season for free.

It’s all thanks to a joint venture between Hartlepool Borough Council and the football club.

The School and Football Enterprise Scheme (SAFE) offers groups of youngsters the opportunity to watch Hartlepool’s home league games from the family enclosure.

Groups of up to 18 children can take part and the only requirement is that they must arrange their own transport and be adequately supervised by two adults.

Any community group is welcome to apply, including schools, scouts, guides and church organisations. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
