Armistice centenary
A Book of Remembrance will be opened in Hartlepool this week to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice.
The book will be opened in the reception area of Hartlepool Civic Centre at 12 noon on Thursday 8 November and will provide people with the opportunity to say thank you to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.
An online Book of Remembrance is also available.
