Cabinet Members
The elected Mayor, Stuart Drummond, is currently appointing a new Cabinet following the recent elections.
As required under the Local Government Act 2000, the Mayor is required to nominate a deputy Mayor who can act with full Mayoral decison making powers in his absence. The Mayor, Stuart Drummond, has nominated as his deputy.
Executive Portfolios
The Mayor delegates to each Cabinet Member a 'portfolio' of responsibility. Portfolio Holders are responsible for managing that area of work and making any necessary decisions for those matters delegated to them. The current portfolios are as follows:
