Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre

Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre is an historic and vibrant venue located on Raby Road, offering a wide range of live performances such as comedy, drama, music, children’s theatre and pantomimes.

Originally opened in 1897 as the Town Hall, the building was designed in the Tudor Gothic style and later transformed into a theatre in 1977. Today, it features a 400-seat auditorium, rehearsal spaces, dressing rooms, a small upstairs theatre, and the Empire Bar. The theatre is also home to a local theatre school and continues to support both professional and community productions.
