Food Bank Services
Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Food banks rely on food donations to feed local people in crisis.
Care professionals such as Doctors, Health Visitors, Social Workers, Citizens Advice Bureau staff, the Police and Probation Officers amongst others identify people in crisis and issue them with a food bank voucher.
Food bank clients bring their voucher to a foodbank centre where it can be exchanged for three days supply of emergency food. Volunteers meet clients and are able to signpost people to agencies able to solve the longer-term problem.

School Uniform Recycling Scheme
The Children's Hub run a free school uniform recycling scheme. They can help if you are struggling to afford uniforms for your children and have a range of good quality clothing in different sizes and colours. Contact The Children's Hub on 01429 284284.
