Carlton Outdoor Education Centre is a 68 bedded residential centre based on the edge of the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors and provides high quality activities, accommodation and good home cooking for both groups and individuals. The centre can be booked on a fully catered, residential accommodation only basis or used for self catering and group camping is welcome.

The centre is available for a wide variety of events such as family activity days, birthday parties, holiday courses, school visits, youth groups, Hen/Stag parties, corporate events, charity events, evening activity sessions, teacher training sessions, National Governing Body award courses and so much more! 

One of the many benefits of Carlton OEC is we have a very knowledgeable instructional team with a wide variety of experience, working with different clients both at the centre and in the clients own environment.

Safety forms an important part of our operation and we hold an Adventure Activities License, Adventure mark and the Learning Outside the Classroom Gold quality badge.

Activities include bush-craft, caving, rock climbing both outdoors and indoors, camp-fires, camping, canoeing, gorge walking, bouldering, shelter building, mining, bivvying, high and low ropes course, archery, expeditions and lots more...
