Residential parking scheme

We manage several on-street permit-controlled parking zones. These zones operate from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday.

If you live in one of these zones or regularly visit someone who does, you may be eligible for a parking permit.

Types of permits

There are three types of permits available:

• residential permit
  For residents with a vehicle. The permit is linked to a specific vehicle and must be displayed at all times.
  There is no limit to the number of residential permits per property, except in Zone M.

• open permit
  For short-term visitors. This permit is not linked to a specific vehicle.
  Only one open permit is allowed per property.

• visitor permit
  For regular visitors. The resident must apply and give consent.
  There is no limit to the number of visitor permits per property, except in Zone M.

Note: Properties in Zone M are limited to 2 permits per property.

Permit costs

• first permit: £15
• second permit: £25
• third permit: £40
• any additional permits: £40

Apply for a permit

Apply for a residential parking permit

To create an account:

Please click onto the below link and follow the steps to create an account.

1. Please click onto the create a new account tab.
2. Select 'Personal account' – Applying for a permit for your own use.
3. Complete the details requested and click next.
4. Fill out the requested information including a contact telephone number before clicking finish.
5. A separate email will be sent to the email address provided to activate your account.
6. Please click on the link in the email and sign into your account.

Please click onto permit application and follow the steps to apply for your permit.

Once you have completed the application you will be navigated to a page where you are able to:

• Make a payment – Once payment has been made in full the permit will be issued and a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
• Save application – If you wish to pay for your permit via a monthly standing order please click save application and complete the attached form
