Sustainable Warmth Scheme

What is the Sustainable Warmth Scheme

The Sustainable Warmth Scheme is a government initiative which Hartlepool Borough Council was success in securing funding from to help homes across the borough to become greener while reducing fuel bills.

The funding will be targeted to upgrade low-income, privately owned homes to improve the EPC rating with a range of energy saving measures, to reduce (or offset rising) heating costs, making homes warmer and improve the residents general health and wellbeing.

Through working with Pacifica Home Services to deliver the scheme, upgrades to homes will take place before the end of March 2023, with the move saving households around £200 per year on their energy bills.

All applications are subject to eligibility, and funding can be removed at any time. Funding caps are in place, as set by the government funding rules. Once targets have been reached, we will hold your application details, in case more funding comes available under this, or any future schemes.
