Hartlepool Holiday Fun here we come!

Published Monday, 12th December 2022

There’s another fun-packed line-up of activities for children and young people in Hartlepool aged 4 to 16 to look forward to over the school Christmas holidays.

Multi-sports, forest fun, Harry Potter and Pokemon crafts, Christmas-themed activities, boxing, arts and crafts, mindfulness, trips to the pantomime, plus activities for children with special educational needs and disabilities are just some of what’s in store … and most of the activities are free!

It’s all part of Hartlepool Holiday Fun – a project run by Hartlepool Borough Council in partnership with different organisations across the town and funded by the Department for Education – which provides activities for children and young people over the main school holidays throughout the year. As well as having a fantastic time they also get a tasty meal too.

Councillor Jim Lindridge, Chair of the Council’s Children’s Services Committee, said: “It’s been another terrific year for Hartlepool Holiday Fun, with thousands of young people enjoying our action-packed activities, discovering new hobbies, making new friends and tucking into nutritious meals as well.

“There’s lots more to come in our Christmas programme, with something for everyone to enjoy and not a chance of being bored over the school holidays.
