Armed Forces drop in session

Published Monday, 7th August 2017

MEMBERS and veterans of the British Armed Forces will be able to seek advice and assistance in Hartlepool this week.

The Royal British Legion – which provides financial, social and emotional support – will be at Hartlepool Civic Centre on Tuesday 8 August.

The drop in event will take place between 10:30am and 1pm.

Councillor Allan Barclay, the Armed Forces Champion for Hartlepool, said: “Representatives from The Royal British Legion will be in the Civic Centre reception area to help raise awareness of the services they provide and offer assistance to anyone who might need their help.

“I would encourage local Armed Forces members and veterans, as well as their families and dependents, to come along and learn more about what this fantastic charity offers.”
