Can it be recycled?

All recyclable materials should now be placed in the grey bin. It is hoped that this new system will be easier for residents to use and will encourage more people to recycle.  

To find out if something can be recycled simply select the item from the drop down list and the tool will tell you whether it can be recycled in your grey recycling bin, at the household waste recycling centre (HWRC) or not at all.

If the item cannot be recycled place it in your green rubbish bin or dispose of it in the general waste skip at the HWRC.
