Hartlepool Shared Lives

Who are Shared Lives Carers

Shared Lives Carers are individuals, couples or families who have a range of skills, experience and knowledge and have been assessed and approved by a Shared Lives Service.

Shared Lives Carers help people to develop and maintain independent living skills, friendships and roots in the community.  Shared Lives always involves the Shared Lives Carer sharing their home and family life with the person using Shared Lives.  A maximum of 3 people may be supported at any one time by the Shared Lives Carer.
