Hartlepool Shared Lives

Shared Lives Carers are regularly monitored and supervised by the Shared Lives Managers to ensure that they are providing safe and high-quality placements and can continue to meet the needs of the person in their care. The working files of the Shared Lives Carers are checked to ensure that records are being completed as required. 

The person placed should have an annual review, carried out by their Care Co-ordinator/Social Worker who will also oversee their placement on an ongoing basis. 

People accessing the service are consulted with to express their views and feedback on the Shared Lives services they receive. This is done independently on an annual basis. Questionnaires are sent out bi-monthly to those accessing respite.
