Talk Boost KS1 (Suitable for Children Aged 4 - 7) (Ref: CASKEYTB) Various training options available

Talk Boost KS1 is a targeted, evidence based intervention developed by the communication charity ICAN which supports children aged 4-7 with language delay. It can boost a child's language by 12-18 months in a ten week period, helping them to catch up with other children their age. It is delivered by a trained practitioner, 3 times a week for 10 weeks, to a group of 4 children. Talk Boost KS1 supports key language skills :

- Vocabulary
- Building sentences
- Telling stories
- Conversations
Talk Boost KS1 training will cover:
- the importance of early language skills
- the rationale behind the Talk Boost intervention
- how to identify children for the intervention using the Talk Boost KS1 Tracker
- content and delivery of the intervention
