Payroll Services
The payroll service provided by the authority is a comprehensive payroll service managed within a secure network environment. The payroll information held is based on the instructions received from schools, academies etc. This is in compliance with national and local conditions of service and all relevant legislation affecting the payment of salaries.
The service provided includes the payment of salaries, payments to third parties, completion of pension forms and returns, HMRC returns, apprenticeship levy deductions, production of payslips, P60's and P11d's if required.
All payroll details should be provided to the Payroll Team on a monthly basis by the 6th of the month either by post, secure email (internal not external) or anycomms. The only time this may change is December, when an email will be issued to advise of an early deadline and pay date. Payment date is the 28th of the month unless this falls on a weekend in which case it is paid the Friday before.
The Payroll Team is available Monday to Friday during office hours for advice and queries on payroll matters. You may need to be referred to your HR provider if the query is related to an employee's terms and conditions.
